C2S AWS DevOps Engineer: Senior
Location: Chantilly, VA US

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Inferno Systems is looking for a C2S/ AWS DevOps Developer to work closely with
computer network operators, network targeters and technical analysts to design, build and
test software capabilities on C2S AWS systems. You should have at least seven years
developing C2S AWS applications including experience with Cloudformation, EC2, QSQ,
S3, step functions, Route 53, VPCs and DynamoDB. You will need to be agile in
responding to shifting operational requirements, timelines and priorities, while also working
in a tight-knit team environment where innovative ideas are encouraged. You will be able to
interface directly with customers and users while participating in all phases of the
development lifecycle to drive forward the customer's mission.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Must have 7+ years of experience developing in the AWS ecosystem
• Cloudformation, EC2, QSQ, S3, step functions, Route 53, VPCs and DynamoDB
experience.
• Experience working in a Linux (RHEL / CentOS / Debian / Ubuntu) environment for both
development and testing
• Working with Jira to record work items and update issues with progress and status.
• Experience using Ansible, Puppet, Salt or other similar orchestration frameworks
• Experience using git and related workflows
• Have experience in developing automated testing pipelines
• Be familiar with networking and web app development
• Experience setting up and managing a Jenkins pipeline
• Experience with MongoDB
• Be a self-starter, proactively integrate with a diverse team and feel comfortable leading the
creative process and engaging multiple stakeholders to help formulate a creative approach.
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Setting up Kibana queries and dashboards
• ElasticSearch usage
• Understanding of network protocols, software stacks and network flows
• Understanding of the cyber operations lifecycle
• Experience or understanding with intrusion detection and prevention systems
• Familiarity with Cloud services and tool capabilities.
• Experienced with web site and application security measures and practices.
• Understanding of or experience in penetration testing and red team operations
• The ability to configure and test with Linux and Windows servers, network devices and
firewalls
